Carmelita found herself inside the Town with No Name, checking in with Roland before she headed into the Danteverse.
The man seemed awfully tight lipped about the event, clearly uncomfortable about its existence potentially bringing trouble to his town. Carmelita promised to be on the lookout for any trouble, informing him she was intending to participate in the expedition to find out more about Karl Jak’s links to Coruscant and to socialise with other primes and that adding in an additional duty wouldn’t hurt at all.
As such, she approached the stall without any trepidation, her red overcoat slung over one shoulder and neatly hiding her shock pistol.
“Hello there!” an employee with a scraggly beard and a horrible stench of garlic said as she reached the counter. “You look like you’re interested in visiting the Danteverse, would you like to make an appointment before the expedition sets off? There’s a limited time on this, I’m afraid, but you do get to see many new and exotic things straight from Karl Jak’s imagination!”
“Actually, I’m here on his request.”
“Oh! A volunteer? Why didn’t you say so. Follow the yellow line through the portal once you’ve signed these waivers.”
The man pulled a stack of papers from the desk beside him that clearly wouldn’t have fit in there. Carmelita blinked before accepting that as standard and carefully recording each form before signing it with her earpieces.
“Thank you! I look forward to watching your exploits!”
Leaving the man behind with a shake of her head, Carmelita headed into the Danteverse with a sense that she may have made a mistake...
