Judy sighed, leaning against a wall. That had been a long walk. But she'd made it. The desert couldn't hold her down! Smiling to herself, she adjusted her police badge (which really was just for show at this point), and approached the mammal up at the desk.
"Ahem, excuse me?" she said, trying to grab the lady's attention. She seemed a bit confused at first, until she noticed the rabbit under her point of view.
"Hi! My name is Judy Hopps. I recieved a missive from a Karl Jak, and I came to ask about that." The lady behind the desk tried and failed to hold back a giggle, before nodding.
"Alright. Um, I have a few papers here. A waiver, and a few media release forms. Would you mind signing them?" Of course, she had no problem. The media releases gave her pause, but after a moment of thought, she decided she really didn't care all that much. So she signed that too. After looking through the signatures, the deskwoman chuckled again.
"May I ask what's so funny, ma'am?" Judy asked, right eyebrow quirked skyward.
Noticing that she was too loud about it, the woman stopped laughing at the pun in Judy's name, and replied, "Sorry, sorry. Anyway, you should see a blue podium a few doors down through the building. Step on that, and the rest should be easy."
The rabbit smiled in response. "Thanks so much, ma'am!" she said, as she jogged forward, toward what would turn out equating to hell. But she didn't know that, yet. Nobody had that kind of foresight.
The woman manning the desk simply sighed. "She's gonna get eaten alive out there."
