Time passed. How much wasn't important, but the poppup on his computer anouncing the game finished downloading may confirm that it was around an hour.
He had the game, and he was ready to play, but something bugged him for a little. Frisk said she wanted to wait until two more days. What happened in two days? Who knows, but for the looks of this, an anniversary of some sort, as that particular day wasn't an important date from what he knew. This could be a great opportunity to cheer her up, by giving her a present!
But first he needed to know what that day was. It would be weird to give her a gift on the anniversary of a dead relative, for example.
