>> Finn: Halt Potential Housefire
#3
At the kitchen, Finn had to be carefull while making his way to the fridge, as half the room was covered with dust and broken pieces of the wall. This was an old house, and the pipeline was a little too rusted for the kind of use a family does, even if it was only two people. Most of the pipes on the house were clogged and leaking, not only on the kitchen, but last week it seemed the system for the sink gave up and broke completely, leaving half the wall sustaining all the water that was supposed to be inside the pipes. Now the kitchen looked like a full construction work, with half the wall broken, showing its wet insides and, mostly, how unusable the pipes actually were. No wonder his aunt had planned to redo the water system for the whole house, because if that was the state of the kitchen, one couldn't imagine how the bathroom was.

Finn stared a little to the old pipes on the floor, already removed from the wall, and picked up one of them. It was as long as his legs, and heavier than what one would expect it to be. At the end, it had attached a little elbow, giving it the look of a perfectly generic pipe. Which was what it was, for everyone's surprise. With a few swings, Finn came to the conclusion that it would make a pretty good weapon, like how some people in movies do with baseball bats. But Finn liked the pipe better, old and rusted and all. His aunt wouldn't mind if he took it to his room, as all these would end up in the thrash anyways.

Enough of the contemplation for the whole mess that was the kitchen. It was food time. Fortunately for everyone living on this house, the fridge was still working, and so did the stove. And, unfortunately for Finn, the fridge was empty, save for some old lemons and other stuff people save on the fridge that isn't food, like mayonnaise. Seriously who eats that thing.

In the place where the remainings of last night's dinner should be, a little note with his aunt's handwritting. Because she had to leave it inside the fridge, instead of the door like a sensible person. But his aunt wasn't a sensible person, eating all the food that was supposed to be his. Like, she even said it last night, “Finn don't eat all the food because we need to save it for your launch tomorrow”. And what she did? She ate it. What an unsensible woman, leaving her only child and only serious responsability suffer like this!

Although, for all the interal ranting, Finn didn't read the note, so maybe that should be the sensible thing to do. It said, with her half-assed and unaesthetic handwritting: “Finn i had to take the last remainings of dinner to work because i'll be here for a while and i realized i didn't have enough money to buy launch. I left you the last money i had so you can buy yourself one of those, what you call them? 'shitty weaboo cereal'? Anyways, i'll get us real food by night. Love you”. The last two sentences were particularly unredeable because she didn't had enough space on the paper, since his aunt had to write a whole paragraph to just say “Fuck you here's some money buy something”. She could brought one of those shitty weaboo cereals herself instead of leaving him defensless and foodless. Also, her handwritting was really awfull. One would think that adults have fancy writting. Not his aunt.

But seriously, this was the biggest “Fuck You” Finn had recieved in a long time from her. Going outside? Buying stuff? She KNOWS how awfull that is! What if someone robs him? There would go the money. What if someone killed him? Well, he wouldn't have to worry about food anymore, but it'll be awfull! What if he got lost? Then he couldn't eat anyways, and it'll increase the probabillity of the other awfull things happening to him! What if some of those crazy overpowered fuckers appeared, and Finn got caught on the crossfire? Again, probably suffering and no food.

Finn refused to go outside. Instead, he'll just carry that old, useless pipe to his room and just starve until his aunt came home with “real food”. That'll make her feel sorry for him, and guilty he had to spend the whole afternoon agonizing over the lack of food.

At the end, Finn just sat on the couch on the living room. He left the pipe on his room, but going there after spending some time on the kitchen made him realize how strong the smell of the burning computer was. Until it smelled like his room again, he'll stay on the couch with his laptop, wasting his time on YouTube and fighting with random people. Finn was pissed off, and he'll make the comment section know it, starting with that generic fucker who always asked about the music, even if it's always present either on the video itself or the author's section.
