basically, I'm considering running Skeletor as my second character, since I think his banter and egomania would make him a fun character to RP as. However, you just know the first thing he'll do when he arrives is try to conquer something. Even when he fails, he'll get stronger, maybe go get some artefact, and go try again.
I don't want to make you guys have to write all the different ways he would lose, as I feel that would burn through patience with the character pretty quickly, and Skeletor in Hell seems less interesting than other stories for him. Would you want/permit me to write the faction's counters to Skeletor, or would any attempt to attack the faction require the storyteller to make sure they are handled with canonical correctness.
(I'm sure small things like a random village I could handle, but Skeletor would not be one to wait to go after the big targets.)
I have other options I considering for number two, I just wanted to get a feel for how the mods would handle the aggressive harassing of far more powerful forces that Skeletor would need to do to feel true to the character.
Thanks!
Well, The storyteller would be in there with consequences.
As a fresh prime, I would advise against trying to attack factions. They are a Boot, you are an Ant. On top of that, eventually you would become problematic enough that they'd just send someone to banish you and, eventually, that's what all this will lead you towards. So you have to ask yourself one question, do I feel lucky... well... do ya punk?
Wait... I mean, do you think you will become invested enough in this character to see them through the underverse?
Also, just to be clear; "do I feel lucky... well... do ya punk?" is a quote from a movie, I wasn't insulting you.
