An unexpected meeting [Completed]

Yukki was not prepared for what he saw as he emerged from the portal. He was expecting something more along the lines of what he had seen at the fountain when he awoke in this world, not the beautiful city he saw before him. He saw a wonderfully clear blue sky, only interrupted by the skyscrapers around him that he assumed the wealthy lived. He saw people bustling around him, and stormtroopers standing around scanning the crowds, seemingly looking for people. Looking around more he saw elevators that people were getting out of and, less commonly, getting into. He noticed that these all headed down. He decided to get in one and find out where it went.


He got out of the elevator on tier three, and immediately noticed that there were less guards here then he had seen before. It seemed the lower he went, the less guards there were around him. He took several spiral staircases down and found himself on tier five. The city barely looked similar to that of tier one, only the building structure was the same. Several buildings were worn down and abandoned, and it seemed that wherever he went, eyes followed him. He pulled his hoodie over his head, and feeling that wasn't enough, summoned a solid black bandanna to put over the bottom half of his face, stopping just above his nose. He didn't realize the dangers of revealing to the people watching him that he was a prime by doing this.

As he continued to walk around, some random person grabbed onto his arm. He shrugged it off and kept walking, not bothering to turn around. After a few more steps his arm was grabbed again. He turned and saw a young girl holding onto his arm. She appeared to be scared and alone. He remembered that that's how he must have looked to Mey. Lonely, weak, on the brink of dying. He started to open his mouth, but the kid tried to grab his gun.

He quickly grabbed her other wrist and threw her into the building next to them. He started sprinting away as he saw three guys come out and start chasing him. He ducked down a side alley and faded into nothingness. His pursuers flew past him, unable to see him. He run back to the elevators, reappearing into view as he climbed into an elevator taking him back to the first floor. He began to walk back to the portal when a familiar figure walked through.
