Marcus hid his own feelings inside his head. He stood tall and sturdy as he was stoic. He had come a long way in trying to hide his facade. But soon that mask fell and his calmness came out not in the form of anything else but heated words.
Before he could do any real damage to the mayor, two tall sugar-high men were suddenly blocking his path of the mayor as he gritted his teeth.
“The sentient fox had won…. For now… “
Marcus was forced to shelf his anger once again as the scared mayor hid behind his bodyguards. How strong was these bodyguards Rando hired anyway?
The rain drenched Marcus’s skin with slight drips as the man wiped it off. The man felt a little more weight on his body as the trench coat became full of water.
Using Omninum, he summoned a copycat version of his leather coat and desummoned the other trench coat. The leather jacket was usually the signature wear of “thugs” such as himself or the memories of what he used to be.
Marcus dared the creature to step up and fight him in a real battle. This however was not spoken and it was just thoughts inside his own mind.
It was clear that the sentient fox couldn’t handle him, so he had to throw out the insults. Trash talk so to speak.
“Come out, you piece of shi-, sentient fox or not, you couldn’t hit me in a real fight, pal. Excuse me, Good Captain, This fox is asking to be thrown in the local Omniverse Zoo.”
Marcus was hiding one big thing. He wanted this secret to be held for a while.
“No bodyguards… just you and me, Rando.”
“Man to man.”
Captain America warned against the fight “Don’t do it…?!”
Marcus frowned “I can take this guy.”
Dustin turned “Please… don’t”
The tipped hat fox just psh “Why would i want to fight when i got these bodyguards to do it for me?”
Marcus shrugged off the fight and turned, still eyeing the fox as he lead them toward the clockwork area and supposedly the mayor's office. His attention slightly changed to a few articles of newspaper.
“The fox had been a great sports player, heh, who knew?”
But whatever reason, it got Marcus calmed down and forced himself into a seat next to Captain America while the good Captain questioned and questioned the creature. Marcus started to hear more than he liked and eyed the fish hatted fox as they could finally start accusing the mayor for things he done instead of them.
