"This is terrible." Eric growled. "So much destruction... What could have caused it?" Where once vegetation thrived and animals scurried, only burnt ashes and faint mounds where trees might have grown remained. Dark, smoldering ashes filled the air. "It is a waste of life, Jams." Eric said between fits of coughing. "But we shouldn't be so sure this was caused by a WHO. Remember, this place is completely crazy. Things could just spontaneously catch fire here for all we know." A dozen possibilities raced through Eric's mind as he surveyed the landscape. Jay apparently believed someone had made barbeque, whatever that might be.
Abruptly, a splash of color appeared in the distance. A tall woman with storm-gray hair ambled over the landscape, stopping to inspect the former foliage frequently. "Maybe she might be able to tell is what happened." Eric said, pointing to the lady. Before either Jams or J could respond, Eric strode out over the desolate waste. He began to call out, trying to catch the woman's attention.
