Returning to his workstation, Todd accessed a shipping manifest that he'd acquired about a month ago. It was for a mid-sized production firm, specializing in military-grade materials. There was a small order going to a private testing lab, in the form of some experimental Stormtrooper armor plates.
Interchangeable and easy to swap out if damaged, they were easily recycled into the strong plastic they had been formed from, and either remolded into new plates or made into other parts. They'd be fine for use on something as simple as a hoverboard.
Hacking in and changing the shipping manifest to redirect it to his friend's address, Todd reclined in his hoverchair and kicked the footstand up, closing his eyes. He slipped his glasses off and set them aside, yawning and settling down to catch himself a nap.
Completely oblivious to the problem that he hadn't yet payed up on his lost bet from earlier.
