It has been a week since she had left the portal with Alder to go to this Darkshire and Chara was getting tired of this traveling . *Who close are we to Darkshire Alder?* "We are very close to the gate of my city" Alder said with a flat tone to her.
After that they were quiet for a while, then they finally made it to the city of Darkshire. *Well I guess not what I expected from here but I guess it will have to do for now* as she said with a disappointed tone. As they neared the gate into the city they saw two guards standing watch for people.
The two guards crossed there halberds and said "Halt young girl and swords-man", "state your reason for coming here" *I come with my friend here for food and shelter, I don't mean any harm just let us pass* "I found this girl at the portal she is important that we gain her help because she is a fresh Prime" Alder said with some concern. The guards uncrossed there halberds and said "you can go on in, cause no trouble" *Thank you for letting me in* Chara said with a thankful tone.Before she could go past one of the guards said "hey we could use some new manpower, so if your interested with helping Darkshire, go to the city garrison and we can work something out." *Ill think about it thanks*. Chara said as she entered the city with her buddy Alder.
As they two of them finally got to a nice looking inn Chara said *So I guess ill see you later Alder* and as she was walking away Alder said "hey why don't you go stay with me and my family for a while it was nice having you as company" Chara was shocked by this Alder was nice company during the ride and he did pull his own weight. *Well I guess I would be rude if I said no, so yes ill stay with you for a while*
