No maps (it is an uncharted island, after all), no grids, no need to submit movements to me.
Movement will be done with your feet, with no like, limits or whatnot, save what's realistic. Everyone will start off at the crash site as part of one thread. As people split apart, I'll create other threads for them. People will receive notices of their surroundings or when they discover neat landmarks and whatnot.
I certainly have my map of the island, and it might be worthwhile if people make their own? Although that won't really be necessary.
