Omni-Tier Character Profiles

PesterOmni Handle: sagaciousBibliophile
Gender: Male

Your name is MELCHIOR. You haven't been in the OMNIVERSE for long, but you've managed to hold down an apartment in TIER THREE OF CORUSCANT with your writing of an ADVICE COLUMN. You like to READ, favoring books that your parents would tell you NOT TO READ if they were here. Your favorite book from back home is GOETHE'S FAUST, but reading it brings back PAINFUL MEMORIES. As mentioned before, you write an ADVICE COLUMN anonymously in a small COMMUNITY NEWSPAPER, indulging your liking of SHARING KNOWLEDGE. Your room holds MANY BOOKS, arranged in what might appear to most as THE HAPHAZARD AFTERMATH OF A BOOKNADO, though you know where each and every tome is.

You BECOME VERY NERVOUS around firearms, due to your PAINFUL MEMORIES. You INTENSELY DISLIKE LATIN AND MATHEMATICS, despite being EXCEEDINGLY PROFICIENT at both. You are fascinated by ELECTRONICS, having come from a place without any, but you are WOEFULLY INEXPERIENCED with them and STRUGGLE with anything MORE COMPLICATED THAN YOUR PDA.

Appearance and Typing Quirk: Melchior is 15 now, and he's a tall, lanky youth with little muscle to speak of. He typically dresses in plain, monocolored T-shirts, usually green or orange, above blue jeans, one of the best parts of this strange new world he's found himself in; comfortable and durable pants. He tries to type with precise and accurate grammar, but he often makes amateur typos and doesn't always spot them until deleting them would put most of his message at risk, so he just leaves them alone.

Land: Land of Rivers and Music (LORAM): A calm land, cast in perpetual sunset, with several wide rivers running through it and plant and animal life that makes music when it moves, with disturbances causing downright cacophonous mistakes in what is normally a passably good song.

Quest: The Denizen has a headache and is trying to sleep, but can't with the music that normally fills Melchior's Land. Thus, its underlings are out to exterminate all of the inhabitants of the planet, which take the form of small woodland animals whose movements create most of the Land's symphony. Melchior's quest is to find a way to stop this extermination somehow. The obvious method might be destroying the denizen, but this is also a very difficult endeavor and a Mind player ought to be able to find a solution involving less effort. Maybe some giant earmuffs or something, but where would you even get that much grist, not to mention the punchcard recipe?
