The Battle of Death Mountain: Beta

Satisfied that no drakes would approach from the rear, Erik got up from his spot and made his way towards Nealaphh and the Gorons. Keeping Mageslayer drawn, just in case, Erik took of at a moderate pace into the cave. The psychic was relived that no young drakes had attacked the group yet, but Volvagias roars continued to grow louder, as did the agitated chittering of her brood. 

Erik soon caught up with Nealaphh. The rock creatures seemed to be placing a strange type of explosive at regular points in the cave, presumably to either blow up Volvagia, collapse the cave onto the wyrm, or possibly both.

Erik said nothing as he approached the god mind, and simply gave a nod to show that he was ready to continue.
