Your name is TODD. You've been in the OMNIVERSE for a long while, but you aren't totally sure how long. Your room is cluttered with various GAMING PARAPHERNALIA. You are most interested in the collecting and assembling of large and highly-detailed SCALE MODELS and FIGURINES. Dominating your room is your custom-made DATAVERSE ACCESS POINT through which you work, trading virtual and real goods. This trade is quite profitable, but it does mean you do LACK ANY REAL FRIENDS and are INCREDIBLY SOCIALLY AWKWARD, despite how much time you spend on various ROLEPLAYING GAMES. You also like to TINKER WITH ROBOTICS and have gotten PRETTY GOOD AT IT.
Appearance: An average, if slightly overweight human male, Todd stands at about 5' 10". He wears a dark purple t-shirt with a white cartoonish Robot Head motif. He's also wearing a pair of comfortable jeans, a pair of white and red sneakers, and a pair of mottled black and grey square-rimmed glasses. When he's out and about, he carries a small holoprojector that fits onto his glasses, which functions as his means of communication.
Background: Todd is an average young adult, almost 19. He lives in a small, tucked-away apartment in a nicer part of Tier 4 in Coruscant. He lives alone, his late parents dying for the Empire many years ago as Stormtroopers against the tide of organized crime. He pulled himself up by his bootstraps, making enough currency in the virtual markets to afford his little apartment. He manages virtual and real goods as well as gambling rings on the F-Zero races, earning himself a tidy profit on the side. He specifically chose Tier 4 for the reduced Imperial presence, as he does occasionally visit virtual black markets to trade and sell his goods, which would quickly get him shut down if the Empire knew about it.
He's a bit of a recluse, and doesn't get out of his apartment a lot, but does have a decent network of friends and contacts inside the Dataverse. He likes to tinker and is fairly proficient in building and programming small drones and bots. He also greatly enjoys building scale model replicas of video game vehicles and characters, right down to the minute details. He's good at coding and likes to read all genres of literature, but absolutely sucks at non-coding-related math.
Personality: Todd is driven when he wants to get something done, but also a procrastinator when he doesn't and will put off doing anything until just before its supposed to be done. He a slacker and tries to get everything done quickly, cutting corners or jumping through loopholes if he can, just to get back to doing something more to his interest. He's also a compulsive liar and will not only lie to get out of trouble, but also to embellish the truth. Though he isn't easily offended or angered, he does have a temper when it comes to interpersonal relations and will sometimes storm off in a huff if something sufficiently frustrates him, or people wont listen to him. He likes to act all tough, and push down all his emotions, but if he gets sufficiently stressed he will crack and all that pent up emotion will flood out in an immature outburst, be it rage or tears or both.
Habits: He tends to tune the world out when he works, focusing entirely on the task at hand. He also likes to sleep whenever nothing is going on or he isn't being directly involved in something. He likes video games and tends to spend too much time playing them, even when there is a task to be done.
Land of Glass and Night (LOGAN)
This planet is eternally locked in a orbit so far from its star, it gets almost no sunlight. Draped in an eternal darkness, the only light is provided by the luminescent glass-like trees and crystalline structures that dominate the planets glassy surface. And speaking of glassy, everything on the whole planet is made of glassy substances, making it nearly impossible to discern what anything is. The glowing crystals and trees, made of a substance called 'glowglass', contain mysterious energies that emit light. When released, they spread color to the surrounding area. Your quest would include finding a way to identify these plants and bring sight and understanding to your consorts in order for them to prosper on this planet that was originally impossible to navigate.
That seems to be all! Feedback is appreciated!
EDIT 1: Added land
