Character name: Shelegiel, Archangel of Order
Character source: OC (Inspired by Angelarium)
Character history:
In a dance as old as time immemorial, Shelegiel twirls across a landscape of pure white to a silent song heard only to his own ears. Snow blankets the rough ground in an immaculate carpet as he swirls across the stark white earth, leaving not so much as a single footprint. Dark nights stain pure white at his whim, as the world falls silent and calm at his passing. He leaves the grasp of winter upon the land as the mark of his vigil, watching over the people of the world so that they may not perish during the harshest adversities. By his assistance, tranquility and happiness overcome despair in even the most desperate times. With flawless ease he sneaks his way into the minds of peasants and kings alike, inspiring a great calling for peace, equality, and balance. By his delicate touch, scales are balanced and peace as fragile as glass is flawlessly upheld. Other angels destroy, create, herald, or foretell, but Shelegiel dances silently upon the world of man, guarding the balance and order of the world, leaving not a single trace but his heralding snow.
However, in a dire political climate, a massive war suddenly broke out. Shelegiel's calming influence seemed to have failed, but little did the world know, he had vanished without a trace. The other angels scrambled desperately to find him, but their searches only ever came up empty. They quickly appointed a new angel to take his place, but unable to follow the steps of Shelegiel's delicate dance, the world remained in chaos without his calming influence. Never again did the world see a single snowfall.
Physical Description: (Art by Peter Mohrbacher)
Shelegiel is a sexless and genderless Archangel of androgynous appearance. He always hovers slightly above the ground -this has no actual effect in combat, just a little tidbit about how he floats around instead of walking-. He wears a skin-tight cloth wrapping similar to a sleeveless unitard that extends to cover his neck and jaw. Over the cloth wrapping, he wears skin-tight, porcelain-like armor that covers him from torso to ankle. Covering the upper half of his face, he wears a blue cowl that drapes down into a drifting cape that seems to almost defy physics. Over the cowl, he wears a large, semihemispherical mask of the same porcelain-like material of his armor. The mask has two twisted ornamental pieces dangling from the corner of it. A silver halo with a detached half-ring of spikes float above his head just behind the mask, furthering the ethereal air of his appearance.
Shelegiel stands (or floats, I suppose) at 6' 5".

Gelinus, The Frigid Blade-(600 OM, Physical Strength, Debuff Proficiency): Shelegiel's weapon of choice should he need it. Gelinus is a Rapier with a length of 48.5", made completely of razor sharp and impossibly strong glass and crystal. It has a typically thin, 2-sided blade with a very sharp point. Unlike most rapiers however, Gelinus has bladed edges to allow it to make slashing attacks as well as piercing ones. The sword is nearly incapable of blocking, only able to parry an attack to somewhat redirect its momentum to assist with dodging. The weapon is very fast, but doesn't hit very hard, requiring for it to connect multiple times to cause any considerable damage. In addition, Shelegiel can channel his energy into the blade to cause it to slow his enemies upon contact with freezing cold. This slow stacks several times, lowering agility and making it more difficult for opponents to skillfully use their own weapons. Due to the slow being caused by the freezing nature of his sword, enough warmth will end or lessen the effects of the slow. Channeling the slow also drains Shelegiel's energy, making it very tiring if used for an extended period of time.
White-Out-(300 OM, Area Attack Proficiency, Debuff Proficiency): After a brief channel of ~3 seconds, a 10 foot area around Shelegiel erupts into a sudden blizzard, creating instant buffeting winds, white-out vision decrease, and a sharp chill in the air for a period of about 5 seconds. Remaining in the area over the duration applies a small slow as the blizzard chills the opponents. Inside the blizzard, vision is reduced to disorient enemies as well as make Shelegiel difficult to see, given his predominantly white outfit. The move requires a very large amount of effort to cast, and reduces Shelegiel's vision as well as the opponents.
Crystalization-(300 OM): Shelegiel swipes his sword at an area within five feet of him, making an arc, then points the tip of the sword at a target within 10 feet, causing 7 large, white, sharp crystals to burst from the ground in the area he initially swiped his sword at, directed at the target area he pointed at. There is a delay of 2 seconds between pointing the tip of Gelinus at a target and the 7 crystals bursting out of the ground to impale anything in the area. Each crystal is about 8 inches across at the base, tapering to nearly needle thin at the tip, and is trapezohedral in shape like a quartz crystal. After about 2 seconds after summoning, the crystals shatter into nothing. The spell hits hard and a well aimed crystal could possibly kill an opponent with very low defense quickly, however the ability is very hard to hit due to imprecise aiming and the delay before the crystals actually burst from the earth. The ability takes a decent amount of effort to cast.
