Off to slay the dragon

Erik passed through the Camelot gate into the Nexus. The radiant, blank landscape was a welcome sight after the dull, maze-like forests of Camelot. Erik wanted to get to the steppes as quickly as possible, so he summoned his horse. The grey horse tossed its mane and snorted, apparently displeased to see the Nexus again. Erik quickly mounted the horse and set off towards the Ashem Steppes gate.

After a while, Erik realised that he would reach the fountain of infinity soon. While it would be faster to go past the fountain, Erik could still see a fight taking place. Erik didn't want to take his chances with the flaming skeleton monster, so he decided to veer around the fountain. After another uneventful hour of traveling, other than a few small scuffles in the distance, Erik came to the Ashen Steppes gate. Erik braced himself for what was inside, but was almost unbearably excited. The psychic could barely believe that he was going to fight a dragon. Erik urged his horse forward and into the gate.
