Claptrap's eye widened as his ally and his foe fused into a singular being. The newly formed Agent Kanda stunned the little robot. He looked kinda like Smith, and he talked like him, but he was obviously not Smith. The human's heroism burned on like a beacon of light in the metaphorical dark. Claptrap was impressed, inspired even, by the human's determination.
Then the metaphorical dark became real.
Claptrap stumbled around blindly, robbed of his biggest edge. The robot moved slowly with his arms out in front of him, hoping that he would find an ally before an enemy. He soon came across something laying on the ground. Squinting through the gloom, Claptrap could make out the form of Agent Kanda.
"Is he... Dead?" Claptrap whimpered. "No! No, he can't be!" As Claptrap summoned his shotgun, the light produced in the process was entirely choked out by the fog. The robot could hear the flaming skeleton and the clown monster fighting close by. Claptrap sped towards the fighting. There was a fire in the little robot's eye. As he came closer to the fighting, the pair came into view. It was an enthralling sight. The clown was summoning pins and throwing the occasional body part, while the skeleton summoned weapons that were seemingly made of light. Additionally, another undead had joined the fight. Some sort of green zombie was swinging a rusty sword all over the place, presumably trying to
hit the clown fusion.
"Hey!" Claptrap cried furiously. "No one hurts my friends." The robot fired a round at the monster, only for the bullets to harmlessly bounce off. The Harbinger turned its head towards the annoyance and glared at the robot.
"I... Uh... Hehe..." Claptrap backed off slightly, laughing nervously. The Harbinger picked Claptrap up by his antenna, eliciting a high pitched screech from the robot.
"You are nothing more than an annoyance." The skeleton said. "You are an insect. An insect that needs to be swatted." The Harbinger tossed Claptrap into the air and sent him crashing back to the earth sub a 'weak' swat. While the bit was weak by the Harbinger's standards, the blow still sent Claptrap rocketing towards the ground with an 'eep'.
Claptrap moaned as he picked himself up, his small body wracked with pain. Summoning his pistol, Claptrap fired off a few rounds at the Harbinger, who shrugged of the shots as if they were small pebbles being thrown by a child.
"You still fight?" The Harbinger said, almost laughing. "Why delay the inevitable? Just allow yourself to die and be done with it." Claptrap's single eye stared back into the Harbinger's, trying to look intimidating while simultaneously being terrified.
"There's no way in hell I'm dying today." Claptrap said. "If anyone's going to did... It will probably be me, actually, but my point is," Claptrap cocked his pistol. "I'm going to do my best and try my hardest to beat you. And that's all you can ask for."
