Her eyes twitching listening to the captain's foul words, Morene couldn't have helped to instinctively turned to Yuuko, the shocked look on the huntress' face nonetheless surprising the blue-haired maiden. Either way, it didn't much help the mood, despite Yuuko getting the hint that Morene wasn't in agreement with what this armor-clad man had to say about her.
Sighing, Morene could only look back to the captain and hesitantly reply, a hint of venom in her voice as she did so.
"Yes, yes, I get it."
Wanting to say more, the huntress could only hold her tongue and squint her eyes awaiting a response. Silence filled the air for a short moment in the Nexus, and the captain was almost impressed at how that was the only retort he'd gotten so far today. Looking over at Yuuko, Morene noticed her standing there quite timidly, wanting to break the deafening quiet of the blank white verse.
Morene had already grew tired of the wait, rolling her eyes as she spoke up again. "Well, cat got your tongue? Will you let us in, or what?"
The captain slowly turned to face the gate behind him, glistening with enough light to make his armor almost blinding to look at.
"Alright," he began, "if that's all, then yes, we'll allow you to go through. Just remember--"
"I get it, don't cause any trouble," Morene spat, slightly annoyed at this point with how tedious this entire process was. Yuuko couldn't help but feel a pit in her stomach in response to how intense this entire scene was, even though she knew nothing would happen. At least, hopefully so.
Despite how bad she did feel, Yuuko was thankful that she had somebody like Morene by her side, somebody that already began standing up for her when they had only met a mere hour beforehand. Morene herself wasn't thinking much of it at this point, simply wanting to smack the helmet off of this arrogant tin-headed toy-totting manchild in front of her, though if she did have the time to admit it, Morene would have also felt grateful in Yuuko's presence.
"Come, dear," Morene spoke, turning towards Yuuko as she signalled to follow. The blue-haired girl nodded only once, before slowly following as the huntress in front of her stamped her feet onto the ground, stepping forward.
The captain looked at the woman as she walked past, and for a split second, the man could have swore he saw the quickest death glare he'd ever gotten from somebody. He couldn't have confirmed it however; Morene turning her head before he could see anything else. Either way, it almost struck him as threatening. Thinking about it, he couldn't help but chuckle as the two girls stopped themselves in front of the gate, the rest of his men watching them both with the excuse that they were making sure they didn't make any sudden moves, though in all honesty, they were just intrigued as the captain was with Morene's seemingly short-spoken nature in contrast to most of the cockier Primes they had encountered.
Once more, the two women in blue looked back at the Nexus, before they looked at each other to make sure the both of them were ready. Surely, Morene's face was nothing more than a small smile, hinting that she's probably went through this kind of thing beforehand. As for Yuuko, the huntress could only guess, but either way, the two nodded.
Her arm reaching outwards, Morene was the first to step in, Yuuko hesitantly following as both Primes nearly went blind after entering the gates of Coruscant.
