The heavens above Kanda ripped apart and revealed nothing but an surreal eclipse, a vast nothingness of black. Quickly realizing the danger he was in he forced his sword into the ground below him, hoping it would allow him to withstand the gravitational pull of the black hole. He never stood a chance. Just as a spring leaf ripped from its tree Kanda lost his grip, sending his body flying upwards towards the rapture, disappearing into the Sky.
The following moments he could only remember as darkness with his body being torn apart. Feeling the sins burning within his soul, finding its way out. The brave warrior attempted to scream, yet the darkness around him swallowed any noise that was born from within. The heat was all around him, the excruciating sensation of affliction was unbearable. Kanda has never felt this helpless before. Submerged in darkness, he was indeed in hell. Where was the innocence? Where was God's protection? Slipping out of consciousness the boy had one line going through his mind that helped him hold on through this ordeal.
'Joy to the just to do judgement: but destruction to the workers of iniquity.'
The exorcists body was smoldering. It was laying face down on the nexus floor, his uniform torn, burned and only covering parts of his body. A muscle twitched in his arm as he regained consciousness, "Ugh" forcing himself to get up he felt the burning sensation all over his body, his ribs were hurting and his skin felt as if it was on fire, yet he refused to give the creature the satisfaction of seeing him suffer.
" My, you survived, I did not expect you to stand after that." The fiend casually spoke.
Kanda's stomach turned, he sensed the vile energy that was emitted from Harbringer's body. The aura he witnessed gave him the coldest shiver down his spine. He had no choice but to stand his ground, he picked up his sword ‘Mugen’, activating it in silence of prayer within himself. He finished his preparation by triggering his second illusion form, creating a second sword of energy in his left hand. There was but one chance if he was to survive and perhaps even win this ordeal.
The battle worn warrior turned to the other primes. Some of them were flabbergasted by what they witnessed. None of them had ever seen what they observed here today.
With a strong voice Kanda addressed the group from a distance pointing his innocence covered sword towards them, "What are you doing? Are you not primes?! Weren't YOU taken here by Omni as well?! Isn't this world your home now?!" He shouted towards them as his eyes jumped from between them, "Your home is currently under attack by this...abomination, this..freak show of primes. A vile horror created solely through hate and greed for power. You've all witnessed it's destructive power just now, can you really stand idly by as this beast runs rampage? Don't you have any pride or honor within you?! Stand by me and lets bury this monster once and for all. Together we stand, or divided we will fall."
The exorcist turned around and faced the deadly creature once more.Behind him, Colonel showed a quick smirk, something seemed to have reached the robot's circuits, in a positive way. The blonde-haired companion of Ryner couldn't hold back and joined the cause, without a second thought she pulled her sword and rushed towards her impending doom with an heroic battle-shout. Without breaking a sweat, he collided with the young prime, grabbing her by her neck, applying just enough pressure to snap it like a toothpick. "Insect," its loud voice rumbled and she was thrown back to the group ragtag primes. The mighty Ryner fell to his knees as the lifeless body of his companion came to a stop in front of him.
The Harbringer looked amused, "No matter how many insects you manage to gather, you will never have even the slightest chance of winning against a god of souls, a Harbringer of death."
Kanda held both his swords up, the pain and despair was clearly heard in the cut of his voice, "You are not God, let me show you God's power, filthy demon."
A small pulse of energy was emitted from the blue haired warrior for an instant before, at the touch of air, it seemed to fizzle out.
With that final challenge, as if the sun itself burst from the sky, a bright white-yellow orb descended from the white heavens above. Some of the gathered primes were unable to look directly at the divine orb as it made its way down towards the desperate but worthy exorcist. The Harbinger wasn't affected by the brightness of the sun-like ball of energy, it simply observed with interest. Kanda raised both of his swords towards the energy. This was it, the moment where he started the counterattack against evil. Even though his body was already in agony and rejected the idea of moving, his sense of purpose kept him standing upright. Kanda's weapons absorbed the profound energy of the sphere, both swords shook and could barely contain the raw power that they now held within. One last glance at his enemy, who did not seem to impressed, and he felt a transformative surge of power within him. The prime's stomach clutched in anticipation as he prepared to unleash the heavenly wrath.
"Take your wretched souls out of my sight and may god have mercy on them!" The exorcist shouted towards his foe, a moment before he thrusted both energy filled swords into the ground, taking a symbolic knee as he was doing so. The sound of thunder was heard when the energy coated weapons pierced the ground, sending off eight cracks of energy through the nexus floor. Almost as if Lightning itself was making its way towards the sickening being. Within a mere blink of an eye the energy reached Harbringer, shooting up pillars of pure white-yellow energy, surrounding Kanda's target.
"Oh, how exceptional." It replied, touching one of the bars with its boney finger. With a cracking noise of electricity he was forced to retract it the moment he touched it.
"Be gone from this world!" Kanda shouted as he gave the final command through his innocence. The pillars of hope moved in closer to the Harbringer. The exorcist was biting down hard on his teeth, having poured all the energy he could currently muster into this attack, he knew he had to make it count. This struggle to control the vast amount of energy as it conducted through his very bones, became visible in the convulsions of suffering that were written all over his face."From behind his prison bars Kanda heard the creature laugh. 'You won't be laughing long' Kanda thought.
The pillars shined brightly as they combined into one enormous beam of light, emerging from the ground shooting upwards, pulverizing anything in between. A sense of relief washed over the warrior as the ray of energy dispersed. All that remained was a large curtain of smoke, spewing the fading remnants of his attack. Aching, he stood again, taking a fighting stance once more.
