Quote: "Welcome, I am Commander Klaud Nine, the woman in charge of this organization. What brings you to this side of the verse?"
The Angel slowly strode around the room as he contemplated her question. His hand traced a painting on the wall, as he hummed an angelic melody to himself. It was of beautiful artistic value, and its obscure meaning was even more delectable. It depicted an agent of light holding a wave of darkness back, yet the light was faint and darkness encompassed it on all sides. As he gazed at the painting, his mind brought another scene forward; a memory. The Nephalem, standing at the pinnacle of Heaven, against the accumulation of all evil. Diablo himself. He shook his head, dispelling the memory, and his head rotated to regard the woman in the room.
"My mission here is very simple, Commander. I wish to restore the light to this verse." He rose to his full height, and his voice was full of bitter pride as he began to weave a story. His story.
"I used to be an Angel, back in my world. A servant to the light; the epitome of wisdom." His eyes misted over and his face gained a sorrowful expression. " But in my arrogance, I abandoned my position and became what you now see. Death." He began to pace the room once more as he inspected various artifacts and paintings on the wall; his wings fluttered on his back, and a light mist was emanating from his body, signaling his unease. "I must pay my penance for my past mistakes, and I have begun to do so already. Though my body is not exactly as yours, I am human now. Yet I am not; I am an outsider from both yours and my race."
"But Commander, I have a question for you." Klaud's head inclined slightly and a perfectly sculpted eyebrow rose along with it. "Why are you here?"
"...If the soul is left in darkness sins will be committed. The guilty one is not he who commits the sin, but he who causes the darkness.”
