Koal felt the nostalgia grip him as he once again traversed through the green land that was Camelot. His senses remembered everything, the smell of the air, the feather-light caresses of the breeze, and bright sunbathing the land. A land f fairytales and magic, a place for Koal to find his purpose. Their trip to the city on the mountain was fairly uneventful, nothing of importance happening, nothing but playful banter between the small group. Koal spent most of his time trying to solve riddles that Leah threw at him. Her mind was sharp and quick, far more so than the young teens.
Leah eventually returned to her place inside Koal's mind, the musical color of her thoughts once more residing in his head. She continued to throw riddles at him, and Koal struggled with more than a few. But they eventually reached the city, the various farm dotting the landscape replaced by a towering wall of cleanly hewn stone making Koal feel significantly smaller and less important. Red and Thor had verbal exchanges with guards, and Koal found himself at spear-point. His demonic blood boiled, and he let out a low growl, warning the man to remove the spear before he found his head stuck on it.
His face paling considerably, he guard hurriedly removed the weapon from Koal's grasp, pulling back on the leather reigns that were attached to his steed's bridle. It was a beautiful animal, with a sleek black coat, a glossy black mane, and purple eyes... Wait a second.THAT WAS HIS HORSE! Koal's eyes widened in realization, his purple iris locking onto the man's blue ones. "Where did you find this horse?" the young teen demanded. The guardsman began to stutter as he spoke, utterly terrified of Koal's demonic presence," W-w-we found it coming ou-out of the w-w-oods a weeks or two ago. why?"
"Because it's my horse." The man hurriedly dismounted, handing the reigns to Koal with a white-knuckled grip. Koal snatched the leather chords out of his hand, growling as he did so. He walked circles around the horse and found it was still in one piece, and nothing was out of order... Thor and Red were busy negotiating their way into the city, so Koal took a few minutes to manifest some sugar cubes, feeding his horse all but one, and popping the remaining cube into his mouth...
