Should probably point out: S'not just a dip in AC. You lose every point of AC not provided by armor or some armor equivalent. That includes your dex bonus. That includes even the 10 AC every living thing gets.

So it boils down to, unless enemies roll a natural 1, they're going to hit you, 99% of the time. You'll just hit them back really, really hard for it.
