On the cloud of unknowing...
He stared up at the clouds above him, threatening certain death if he remained in its proximity. But still, he remained still. Fear wasn't a problem anymore. A loud boom echoed through his almost perforated ears as lightning crackled in the sky. It was only a matter of time now. Everyone counting on him to survive. Everyone who had wanted him to return to his home. It wasn't happening. But he couldn't bring himself to remorse. All he had left in him was those last moments of clarity you get before death. With it, he let off a mighty, bellowing roar of anger. "TEUCER! IS THIS WHAT YOU WANTED?!" A white flash graced the sky, and all that remained of the "champion" was a burnt corpse, electricity shooting out of wires left uncovered.
My world seems open...
Death was an interesting sensation.
No sense, yet all sense at the same time.
Nothing to feel, yet feeling everything at once.
Teucer appeared in front of him, chiding him for letting the spirit down. With a scowl, he accepted the orb pushed into him, and he fell. Through the fall, he heard something he would remember for a while. "Before you go... THIS IS MINE!" Afterwards, nothing again. He'd have to do some research on the effects of death. Oh wait, he was already dead. Thing is, he'd return. He was just too skeptical of this fact. This disbelief would prove to be in vain, because he would return. Just, not yet. All in time, everything came around. But whatever. It was alright, he supposed. Teucer didn't deserve his help to begin with.
