Day 3 Morning

[Amaterasu]

"Mmmnh..." Amaterasu grunted and stretched her arms behind her head, before she painfully remembered that her right arm was in no condition to do that right now. She had slept deep, deeper than she should have in a situation like this, yet it felt like she had only slept a few minutes. The sun was slowly coming up on the horizon, and the temple was coming into view. Good... very good. She had narrowly dodged a lightning storm and moved into the thick forests, trying to avoid hostile Primes. Especially those with relics at hand... she might not survive a second encounter with any of them. No, in the best case she would try to end it peacefully. What could they want from her, anyway? She didn't have anything worthy of stealing, and if they attacked her they would get hurt in return. But of course, better safe than sorry.

Erik's and Yuki's corpses were lying near her, with their hands on their chests and looking as if they were asleep because the bandages she had made hid their injuries. It had been a hassle to carry them around all the way, but she had made it. And the slow pace had allowed her to find provisions more easily, so she didn't have a growling stomach by the time she reached her destination. The temple.

Hero Teucer was nowhere to be seen, probably he was floating around in another part of the temple, or minding his own business wherever. Well, she didn't really require his aid in this matter. First things first, she put the two bodies down and rested her sore legs for a little, then felt the air around her if she could detect any bad vibes similar to what she had felt when near the green-clothed man. But, feeling none she relaxed a bit and grabbed Muki's body, slumped it over her shoulder, and found him a good place to rest under one of the massive columns. As she went to get Erik as well, she could feel a malicious energy drawing from them, but before she could really do much about it it was gone and they laid there peacefully again. "Was that Warlock's doing again...? Oh no, I hope Somerled and the others are okay..." She shook her head. They would be fine. She needed to get Erik too...

Minutes later, the two bodies were bedded behind the temple, in front of a carving depicting some unknown scene, perhaps from Teucer's life. She made sure to clean their injuries and adjust their bodies to make them look as peaceful as possible, before kneeling and speaking a few prayers. Then she began to collect wood, rocks, leaves from specific herbs and trees, a pair of flintstones and a handful of other things. With everything gathered she returned to the temple and dropped it on one of the flat surfaces to use as a table and workshop, where she began to work. Making incense from the sticks and leaves was the easy part, she needed a lot of wood, reeds to tie the pieces together, colors from the rocks to paint the arcane symbols onto the surfaces - or simply carve them with the sharp edge of a flintstone. It would take a while, but she would finish this shrine, even if it was only simple and really just a makeshift construct... but it would hopefully do the job to ease Teucer's passing into the afterlife, severing the bonds to the world that had formed throughout the ages and easing him in with less effort. Of course, the relics were an essential part. But, with a bit of luck she could aid the tormented spirit in his departure.
