Day 3 Morning

[The Spirit]

FACE TO FACE
LINK, MAGUS, KOPAKA vs. MICKEY MOUSE, BELLE, PROTO MAN

The dawn had arrived, the orange sun tinting the entire sky a nice orangey hue. Magus and his groupies walked through the forest. The tangled brush getting in his way before the group stumbled upon another pack of primes. Magus shushed the group behind him and crouched beneath the shrubbery, hoping to get a surprise on these new arrivals. The rest of the group sat behind Magus, hoping to get some insight to why they had suddenly stopped.

“I didn’t know that Play, Boy was also religious.” The mouse began to peer at the magazine intently, attempting to read the smeared words. “It is always good to have a girl get on her knees.”

“Mickey!”

Kopaka’s metallic face became intent as he heard the name. “I will have to relinquish you of this weapon for now.” The toa of ice grabbed the Chainsaw from Magus’ back. “Mickey Mouse. I am here to detain you for your crimes against the Empire. Surrender now or die.” The toa announced as he revved up the chainsaw, roaring it to life.

Mickey turned with the rest of the group, all of them alarmed at the newcomer along with the rest of the group that stepped out of the bushes. “I don’t know what your problem is buddy, but you have to leave me alone.” Mickey took the shield out from his back, bringing it to his arm. He felt the rush of power flow through him and stepped in front of the other groups of primes.

Link’s breastplate resonated with the shield and the two primes almost felt a magnetic attraction towards one another, but each resisted the pull. Kopaka turned to the other primes before speaking. “Keep the others at bay but leave the mouse to me.”

Kopaka charged in alongside with the others, swinging his running chainsaw at the mouse. The sounds of metal scratching metal filled the air as Mickey brought his shield to match. Mickey pushed with his shield, causing Kopaka’s arm to go up for a second and allowing Mickey to land a punch right in his face.

Link smashed the cube and heard the iconic sound for a brief moment before a banana peel came into his hands and Magus grabbed...an apple? Both of the primes sighed as they saw what they had to deal with.

Proto Man took out his knife and began to breathe in for a second. Bright lights engulfed the Robotic Teen, his armor being replaced with new materials. Proto smiled and whipped out the Butterfly knife before nodding to Belle, “How about we make some fruit salad.” Belle smiled back at the Robotic Boy wielding her crowbar.

Belle began to charge into the group before a slimy banana peel hit her in the face. She wiped it off before an apple came soon after. Frustrated, she went in with her crowbar. Link reached for the mystery cube once more but it failed to come to him, only a metal pink crowbar hit him in the face. Proto charged towards Magus, the butterfly knife in hand. Magus jumped to the left but Proto went right along with him and sliced his stomach. Magus attempted to dodge all of the slices but the enhanced Teenager’s reflexes were too smooth. Small cuts here and there but each one stung him.

The girl charged again at Link, but the Hero of Time managed to dodge the blow. He followed through with an uppercut to her face, bringing back her bouts of dizziness. Link then jumped up in the air and began to summon his Megaton hammer. Bringing the massive item down upon the Redheaded girl. As the hammer was about to be finished smashing the young girl, Proto stood in the way, his shield quickly materializing beneath the hammer’s massive blow. Proto pushed of the boy as the Shield began to dissipate.

Magus was soon on the offensive, taking this time where Blues was defending Belle. Magus landed a solid punch in Blues’ face, flinging him across the field and causing him to land harshly in the trees. Magus looked at the recovering girl and kicked her in the stomach. He continued to Her groan of pain was interrupted by a few choice words.

“Finish Buster.” Magus looked up to see Blues charging a massive blast. The blue beam of energy flew at the warrior before a puff of smoke. Magus reappeared right next to Link and nodded to him. They knew with their equipment they wouldn’t get much further with these two.

Kopaka, however, was soon put on the defensive. The whirring blades were proving very ineffective against the shields tough exterior. Mickey pushed back the chainsaw’s attacks and shoved Kopaka straight into the ground, causing the unwieldy item to be dropped from his hands. Mickey channeled his inner Atelos, whoever the hell that was, and smashed the shield down upon Kopaka’s head. Mickey began to bring down the shield again before Kopaka began to emanate a blue light. The shield bounce off of the new aura. Kopaka punched the mouse’s face and shoved him off of his body with his newfound strength.

Kopaka saw his two other teammates begin to retreat and grabbed the Chainsaw before following suit. He shoved the chainsaw back into Magus’ hands before muttering to himself.

“That weapon provided no use to me.”

Link is bleeding slightly from his head - Minor Injury 4 DMG
Magus has many small cuts - Minor Injury 3 DMG
Proto’s jaw feels bruised and his back hurts from impact- Minor Injury 3 DMG
Belle feels dizzy and her concussion has made a slight reappearance- Minor injury 4 DMG
Mickey has a black eye - Minor Injury 1 DMG
Kopaka feels very dizzy and is bleeding from his head - Minor injury 4 DMG
Proto used System Upgrade, Finish Buster, Desperation Shield -3 SP
Magus used Ethereal -1SP
Kopaka used Taiepa o Whaiaro -1 SP
Link used Megaton Smash -1SP

Side Note- Magus never gave his weapon to Kopaka but I thought it made for a better story. None of the judging was graded differently than it would have been[/spoiler]
