Turning around at the sound of someone behind him, he watched Ballad wave a very familiar looking wad of cash in front of his face. Grundy looked straight at the green boy as a veritable barrage of words tumbled out of his words, very few of which the jock understood.
The teenage zombie rolled his neck to the side, cracking it, and cleared his throat, flexing his massive biceps.
"two choice, green kid. Give money back and Grundy not have any more problem. Or, keep money. Grundy not care. But keep eye behind you, because you getting beat like horse. Not happening here. You not worth detention."
Satisfied with his choice of words, Grundy sat down and cleared the aisle, waiting for a sheepish return of his funds, or something else entirely. In the second case, he'd get his "workout" in before practice.
