Connor is still short. God damnit why did his mom have to be 5 foot tall. He winces when he checks his height, 5'3. He grumbles, well at least he height is good for martial arts, lower center of gravity, you tend to be faster, you can inside your opponent's defenses. Then begrudgingly he gets dressed in comfortable loose balck colored clothing, nothing special. He backs his backpack with all the necessary school supplies, making sure to put it his sketch book and drawing pencils. Then he moves on to his gym bag, where he packs his mouth piece, singlet, gi, head gear, wrestling shoes, gym shorts, and a dry-fit t-shirt.
He gets in the bus with his two bags in tow. Even though he does enjoy his new status among the jocks he sits in the middle, trying to avoid the scrutiny of old friends, and the beckoning of new. After every turn Connor braces himself and looks at the driver, seriously wanting to put the old man six feet under.
