Welcome to The Dunes
#10
The Empire's soldiers took their leave, Eon laying on a cot in the back of the kitchen he'd whipped up. In one day, so much had happened. He'd finally found the man he'd been searching for... Knives. Who turned out to be as heartless as the man Eon had been pursuing, the Humanoid Typhoon. Casting Eon into a Black Hole of some sort, he'd drifted until he was plucked from that darkness by an all powerful God named Omni. He had been chosen to be a character in a world of the God's creation for his own amusement. Then...

Welcome to the Nexus would you like to join the Empire? Or else. Eon chuckled to himself. He had to laugh, from the moment he arrived in the Omniverse he had to run. He ran through a white void to a portal that brought him to a place that was much like his home, only slightly more dangerous. And then...

Ah, I see you've chosen The Endless Dunes as your first adventure. Would you like to be eaten by Cannibals, Creatures from the depths of a crazed God's imagination, or would you like to Join the Empire!? Or else! "Ha!" He laughed out loud at that one. He wasn't really a big fan of this 'Empire' so far, seemed a tad too overbearing for his taste, very tyrannical. Could he blame them though? They were plucked from their universe and started an empire, it was quite impressive. Eon just didn't like the fact he'd been pulled into this game so late in it. To have been one of the First Primes, what would that have been like. He knew he would have put a stop to this clear over production of Secondaries. Granny was sweet, but existed for only one sole reason. Primes created them because they were too lazy to do work themselves. Primes had power equivalent to Demigods in this place, at least compared to it's creator Omni. Even so, Prime's abilities rivaled that of Omni's, the only difference was the supply of energy between them. With enough time a Prime might be able to reach the heights of Omni's power...

Ya and how long would a Prime need to be here and why would Omni ever allow a Prime to Walk the same path he walked. Eon shook his head. Unlike Primes, Omni wouldn't create his own destruction, that would be foolish. Secondaries, he had been attacked and almost eaten by them. They killed their own and even had the ability to kill the Primes that created them or as simple as disobey them and go A.W.O.L. They seemed to out number Primes by quite a bit. He'd almost been killed by a group of them, granted he was a weaker Prime at the moment but with enough of them Primes could be overwhelmed. Just seemed like a dangerous thing to do, create a being that could usurp you. It didn't really matter though, that was the least of Eon's current worries. He had work to do.

He had find somewhere to call his own. Possibly even allies. Granny was sweet but he did put her in some danger being here. If it ever, somehow, came to fruition that he'd killed the Empires' informant and the cannibal's cult members, he'd have two very powerful and angry factions after him. Carrefore was a nexus of its own and plenty of unsavory fellows would come through here looking for a fight, or justice or just chaos. The possibilities were endless in the Omniverse. Eon would need a place to retreat to and allies he could rely on to survive on a daily basis here.

First things first though, there was something missing when he arrived in the Omniverse, something he'd found and held dear to him. Though not like his brethren, it did comfort him in an entirely different way. He'd make it, just how it was.
