Day 1 Evening

[Jak Mar]

Before Face to Face

Jak’s insatiable thirst for meat drove the demon inside him more rowdy than usual. His eyes peeled across the tree line in search for any living movement. He settled his eyes on a small herd of beasts off in the distance.

“It's about time you fool.” the demon inside him snickered at Jak as it wrestled him inside his subconscious.

Approaching closer the green, blonde haired hero heard outrageous cries and yells and noticed a girl surrounded by a pack of wild billy goats.

The hero inside Jak rushed to aid the poor girl but was overtaken by the furious force of deadly hooves and horns. Perhaps it was the pain of starvation overtaking the poor hero or the pain of being attacked by the creatures that drove the demon to be more active than Jak would have liked.

“This is your fault you stupid girl! Once I get through this mess I am going to kill you!” Jak snarled viciously as his body was carried away by the fury herd.

Orihime was already having a rough time dealing with the assault of the cute and vicious wildebeests. When suddenly the man that she had seen inside the temple appeared behind her in the same horrible predicament of fur and horns. She had enough of all of this and now this man was planning on assaulting her as well.

As the herd brought them down to the bottom of the hill, then the man fell out in front of the group and to the feet of two other strangers.

The goats were not going to stop with the relentless attacks forcing Orihime to take action. Reaching for her sword she swiftly released it, the ribbons of fabric unraveling decoratively. The blade crackled and exploded in an azure aurora, that whizzed like lighting. This sent the reputedly smelly creatures packing, running towards the tree line.

After Face to Face

The voice in Jak's head didn't make things any better as he finally decided enough was enough. The animals? They could be innocent but he had to eat, his stomach started to growl as he noticed a peaceful, innocent goat just sitting there eating grass. Jak could feel rough, sharp fingernails grow out of his fingers and he held the pair of weapons given to him. The goat right now could be almost as cute as coming out of a disney movie for all he cared. At least the man or was it the fiend inside him stabbing the claws inside the goat's stomach almost literally. As the goat fell down, the man- beast put it out of it's misery. That's what Jak would of wanted, right?

"Jak.... Feed me... feed us... Please..."

The look of hunger in Jak's eyes far overpowered the fact that he was bleeding from his chest. The man began cutting the beast into pieces and feeding himself as the beast took the time to clean his fingernails of the blood. At least Jak and the beast was full, onto the next things...

"Pathetic..."

You call yourself a [i]hero, Jak? You decided to fight me, I could of saved your ass out there. Instead you let your rival get the best of you, try to rip your ego to shreds in front of New Babylon... of all people. All because of your friend..."

Jak didn't wait to argue as he ripped off a piece of his bottom to cover the bleeding coming from his back AND front.

Jak growled "Don't threaten dax, remember that?"

Jak was about to keep moving when a strange light was hidden on the ground, something oddly...familiar.

Eco..

What was eco doing here of all things? He worried as he slowly placed his hand into the light to see if anything could stop the hurt coming from the eco warrior's body.

Survival...

Jak, stay awake!

Perhaps Jak's innocence wasn't completely lost on the island that evening...
