"Big words. Nice. And uh...no, I kinda killed our archdemon friend. Long story." Koal rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, his feet shifting his weight to one side. The green gunsmith seemed very... indifferent to Koal in general, his face showing no emotion whatsoever. " So... How ya been? Good? Good." Koal didn't even wait for a response before rambling on, " I've been great, have you been to the Ashen Plains? Beautiful place, dragons are a little inhospitable. But y'know, shit happens-" Lynch stopped talking, catching himself. He smiled a apologetically at Ballad.
" Sorry. Haven't had any intelligent conversation in a few days. Unless you count a malevolent extension of your soul, or a Sith Lord hell-bent on conquest." He then moved to drop his scythe, and a second before it hit the ground, it dissapeared with a brilliant flash of light.
He then addresed the matter that was gnawing at the back of his mind. " What are you doing here in this cold, inhospitable wasteland?" His words came out in polite tone, and Koal was genuinely curious as to why Ballad was out telling in this frozen landscape. But those were questions for later, a gust of strong wind had just passed through Koal, and that signaled more to come. " As much as I would love to catch up right now, this blizzard is really picking up." Koal ignited his arm again, the maroon flames dancing in the incoming snowstorm, mesmerizing the young adult for a short second.
" If it's all right, I'm going to stick with you for a while, at least until the storm dies down." He didn't even wait for Ballad's answer, instead opting to walk past him. It took Koal s few steps to realize that he didn't know where he was going. He turned around cupping his hand to form a cone around his mouth. " Hey! I uh- I don't know where we're going. Care to enlighten me, good sir?" He was almost blown over by yet another gust of air, snow parking him like a spray of bullets. " Or do you know where we can find some shelter? Cause it's starting to get really bad out here."
