Day 1 Morning

[Amaterasu]

Amaterasu turned her head to listen to the spirit and gasped as the black hole opened beneath her feet, teleporting her away. Again? At least this time it didn't take nearly as long. She blinked as she found herself... well, not too far from the temple, she could still see it, and there were likely others in her vicinity. She frowned, actually having expected to be able to leave with Somerled and make their way together. How could they... She looked back and forth, trying to find any waypoint besides the temple. There was thick forest, which she had to get away from, and the temple was in that direction... okay, first leave the forest. She began to walk, listening to the sounds, or rather the absence thereof, in this place. It was strange, actually. Awfully quiet. The forest was too quiet, it was... well, dead.Well, the trees did feel alive, but she couldn't hear any birds. Upon closer inspection she found tracks and saw that there were berries growing, so it wasn't really dead. Maybe overly quiet, that was all.

After walking for a while, she spotted a figure in the distance and, upon getting closer, found that it was Somerled! What a stroke of luck! Throwing caution to the wind for right now, she accelerated her steps. If it was a trick played on her mind by the warlock, it was sure working out. "Somerled! It's Amaterasu, over here!" she yelled loudly, not caring if anyone else might hear this. She waved her hand through the air. When Somerled in return noticed her, they walked towards each other and Amaterasu briefly looked around before speaking. "I don't know if staying near the temple is a good idea now that everyone is still nearby. We should head elsewhere."

"Where would that be?"

Amaterasu pointed north. "There's some big mountain there... maybe a Guardian is hiding out around that location?" She wondered if anyone had the same idea as her. A big landmark like that was bound to attract attention. "I wouldn't want to stray too far from the temple either, in case that someone finds the relics and returns them." But for now, she began to walk. They could always worry later on. Somerled simply followed after. "You haven't told me by the way... do you wish to compete for the big prize? To take the relics and be the winner?" She asked him. "Or are you just in it to help Hero Teucer?"
