The Captain's plan seemed sensible enough. Find somewhere to rest and recover, try to figure out what is happening with this Omniverse place. Thor had learned that if there was a way in then there was probably a way out. He had to hope that that logic held true in this crazy place. That growling at the last sentence reminded him, not for the first time, of the Hulk. He thought of Midgard. He thought of Jane. He would find a way back to them. He would let the Captain take him where he might. Once Thor stood on solid land he would try and try again until he mastered these skies. This Omniverse would learn to heed the call of the Thunder God! Once he mastered the skies of the verses Thor would find his way back to Midgard. Back to Jane.
