After THOROUGH ANALYSES of the Ranger Wiki, I have determined that 14 out of 35 teams have nothing but a sword and pistol. Works for me.

The next most popular gun for Reds is a Rifle, so I will buy a Rifle mode for the Gokai Gun. Pistol and Rifle. Then I'll expand to other things later.

Surprisingly, the next most popular close combat weapon among reds is knuckles or a cesti, aka, big punching boosters. So, I suppose the other mode for the Gokai Saber I will buy will be Knuckles, big oversized metal gloves that focus Sentai energy to enhance the punch. After that I'll go for the plethora of other options.
