The exchange that happened in front of her occurred largely out of Aadibah's own input, though it made sense considering she would be going in at the same time as Connor anyways. While the men played their game, the soldier admired the "gateway" that lay in front of her. In fact, she just now noticed that the white space the trio occupied had its own limits, surrounded by a large ring of similar gateways. It reminded her of some larger government buildings back in her world, except significantly more quiet as it lacked hundreds of bickering old men and women.
And judging from what Connor has said, these gateways must go to different realms or something. Like a hub of some kind. Aadibah was starting to get used to thinking in terms that were typically fantastical to her. And this leads to the "Vasty Deep"... let me guess, some kind of oceanic region? Did every realm have a cheesy shtick to it?
