His Eyes....Like Gimlets!

Axorn soared over the landscape, the beauty of it making him relax, as his eyes drifted across its surface, he noticed a couple humanoid creatures just slipping through the portal back to the Nexus. That was probably the rest of the group, he thought worriedly. Guess I'd better hurry up and summon a vehicle.

Axorn closed his eyes, his mind focused on the image of the vehicle he wished to summon, this time it was a strap-on, rocket-powered mechanism that would attach to the back edge of his wings and allow him to fly naturally at high speeds. Focusing on the mechanisms and getting the attachable vehicle summoned, Axorn neglected to notice the two candy corn-horned trolls rocketing by on their fruity jet-pack.

A few short minutes later, the vehicle was ready to go, Axorn expertly strapped it on, having invented it himself and made it the perfect size for his wingspan, and turned it on blasting towards the Nexus portal.

Axorn slipped through the portal a few minutes later, feeling the all too familiar feeling of his body being split into a billion nano-particles and being re-assembled on the other side.
