Business as usual. So history does repeat itself... Aadibah felt her weight get pulled back as the flying bike took off, her fingers tightening the sides of the seat harder as she steadied herself.
"Why even have a blade like that...?" From what Aadibah had read in military history texts, blades needed to flex so as to not break against armor. Seemed kind of like an extreme trade off. Then again, if one of her pressure lines broke it would blow her arm off. However, the mention of lasers intrigued her.
"And lasers were already being developed even a few years before my time, what's different about these ones? More efficient? More compact?" The kind of a weapon could have proven useful in her war effort. Especially with heavy armor.
The fact that her suit's design had been taken up by another party, and was being mass-produced, that sent a sinking feeling into Aadibah's stomach. With her primitive tech alone the soldier had probably killed over a hundred men, and kept a war burning strong. In the wrong hands, and those same hands the only ones possessing the tech, how many lives had been taken because of her ambition?
