I actually don't have many experiences with the paranormal, if one can believe that. I have, however, had a couple in my past.
The memories of it are fuzzy, as it occurred sometime when I was around three-four years old, so the vast majority of the stuff I remember is stuff that my parents told me about. So unless my parents are trying to frighten me, then I'm sticking to their word.
I used to live in the state of Missouri (my current state is Ohio,) in a town called Wildwood. Nice little place, though I only really remember being in an apartment complex for the vast majority of the time I lived there. In any case, we lived there for a short while before moving to a rented house, where we then stayed until my dad got a job as a librarian at a college in Ohio, and that's where I live to this day.
Speaking of my dad, my dad's dad, aka Grandpa Tom, had apparently had a lot of stuff that we still have. For example, we had an indiana-jones style whip he used to own, as well as a baton. He was a Military Police guy, meaning he made sure the soldiers in a base or whatever didn't end up killing each other and stuff like that. I never met him due to the fact he ended up dying from a heart attack ages before I was born.
However, there was one more item we kept in memory of him: A photo of his younger years. He looked like a teenager, I think, and he had on a helmet with the letters "MP" written on it. I had it in the closet of my room. I use "had" it the past tense because I no longer have it at all, and that's because for a while, paranormal stuff started to occur.
For starters, I would wake up in the middle of the night to find Grandpa Tom standing in the middle of the room, staring at me or doing something else. He never harmed me except by freaking me the hell out each time it happened, and eventually it got to the point where we had to remove the photo from the closet, which stopped the ghost from reappearing.
I don't believe in ghosts persay, and it might've been just childlike imagination.
But you never know.
