Paranormalogues
#4
You are all very spoop and i am not jealous in the slightest.

I haven't had much paranormal experience, thank God. I think it's the powers that be telling me that "Nah, son. You ain't ready for these spiritual escapades, you'll flip your shit."

One time, while I was playing playstations with my buddy at his house, his fireplace just like fwoosh caught on fire. Out of nowhere. His parents said that his granddad had passed away in that house, and they like 100 percent believe he's still there spiritually.

I have had it happen to my family, however. My dad used to live in Louisiana when he worked for Dow Chemical (he got transferred there, that is to say) and sometimes he would just go up there on business by himself instead of trying to drag my little sisters or my stepmother or me with him. The house he had to stay in was apparently an old plantation shack area that like, housed slaves or something. When i was older, he told me about times when he like, woke up in a cold sweat because of some biznasty dream or feeling in the back of his mind. The weirdest thing that ever happened though, he says, was one time he woke up and was all shaken and shit right? Says it felt like someone had hands around his throat. Not dangerously so, but still like thats fucking terrifying. So he goes over to the sink and splashes some water in his face. Then, when he looked up at the mirror, it was just pitch black. Like just total darkness in the reflection. You could not see shit, he swears up and down to this day.

And also, my littlest sister Ellie was pretty young when her mom passed away (my stepmom). Ever since, she's had a real horrible time sleeping. Like I'm pretty sure she still has problems, and this was over five years ago, which is understandable right? It's the girl's mom. So anyways, I used to wake up, and she'd just be SOBBING in her sleep, like, she wasn't awake or anything. Just crying while she was asleep. If you tried to wake her up out of the bad dream, she either snaps out of it or just gets louder until you stop messing with her. My dad thinks that she would like, wake up for a few moments and see her mom, which probably creeped her little heart out. Though I imagine she wasn't trying to scare her.

Also of some spiritual note, my Dad says that wherever he goes now, after Lisa (stepmom) passed away, he sees mockingbirds. We could be at the beach, or in North Carolina in the middle of flurrying december. "Hey, look Jesse. Mockingbird(s)." Sometimes I could see it, sometimes I think only he could see it. Anyways, the reason for this little oddity apparently has something to do with Native Americans believing that Mockingbirds are guardians/manifestations/symbols of our loved ones' spirits or something like that, I don't quite remember how my grandmother put it.

So yeah thats about the extent of my paranormalities, thankfully. Wimp that I am, i couldn't handle actually seeing anything. I'd flip my shit.
