I know what Blink is talking about, since he hosted similar events back on Chubbs. Basically, it's like a writing elimination tournament. Each pair of contestants gets a written assignment, where they have to write a creative post that fulfills certain conditions (like it has to be about a specific topic, it has to be of a certain length, it has to be written from a specific perspective etc.) within the allocated time. Once the deadline is up, assuming both contestants managed to submit their entries, the readers then vote on which one they like better. The contestant with more votes wins and proceeds to the next round.
It's never been anything official. Just a fun little side-activity for those looking to challenge themselves creatively.
But yeah, Blink, that's fine. You can do that in the Creative Corner. I'm sure the community will appreciate such an event.
