In 2068 the first prototypes for laser weaponry were announced, but the one defect is why they aren't successful. The weapons tend to overheat and explode. Oh yeah that reminds me! Monofillament, they made this ceramic-tungsten alloy that's really smooth so there is no microscopic imperfections. Because of this, they can make a knife’s blade down to one molecule, so it's really sharp. One downside though, since the blades are really thin and hard, they are brittle and break easily. On the other hand monofilament wire is useful for traps and stuff”

“Oh yeah and hover technology, it makes things faster since there is less friction from the ground, just have to worry about air resistance.”
