The soldier shrugged, and hopped on, sitting with her back against her new companion's, gripping the edges of the seat. If this guy tried anything, she would know exactly what to rip out to make him fly off the handlebars.
"I thank you for the assistance." Aadibah said out loud, trying to convey that she was honest in her words, "I'm honestly surprised I found any friendly people here." She was surprised that she had found anyone at all. It made the whole experience that much more bearable. The fact that there was something of a reality in this new world she was trapped in, some sort of substance to plant her feet on. It allowed her mind something to work on, instead of just... emptiness.
"So, let's entertain the thought that you are from my future." The soldier attempted small talk. "What is it like, then? What is the world like? Is it ruined? Is it a paradise?" Aadibah had read all of the dos and don'ts of theoretical time travel, paradoxes and the butterfly effect. She figured none of that mattered now.
