Inside Aadibah's cupped hands, there was a small sound, and a tiny spark as if a flashlight was quickly turned on and back off. When the soldier opened her fingers to observe what was inside, her face couldn't decided whether it wanted to smile, frown, or scream. She could feel her throat well up in reaction to what she was witnessing, her lungs compressing, but her mouth refused to open.
Aadibah's attention was drawn back to the two men, Somerled affirming that he would travel with Hound. The query sat in the soldier's mind for a few moments. It wasn't like there was anywhere to go, now that everything she had put so much effort into for the past few years had literally been peeled away, a new world put in place. She was alive, and she had to make herself useful for... something...
"Hound," She turned to the man supposedly from her future, "I would like to accompany you." As the words came out, her back straightened, her eyes narrowed, her head held even. "I could be of assistance to... whatever it is your agenda is."
