Somerled’s gaze fell to the ground as he thought over Connor’s suggestion. That deliberation didn’t last too long, however, as the spirit was quickly overcome with confusion, and rather than continue thinking about it anymore, he just dropped it. The logistics of summoning someone who was already here presented far too many issues for him. Would it make a second Sonny? Would it rewrite him entirely? Just how the hell would it work in general? It didn’t help that the entire nature of the split gave him a headache if he thought about it too much.
The best bet there was, or so he thought, would be finding someone not unlike the magician he had foolishly antagonized all those centuries ago. If a powerful magical adversary split his mind in two the first time, who says there couldn’t be one to do it a second time? It was either that or find someone to make him whole once again, which would arguably be harder because no one who wanted to keep their sanity would even dare think about delving into that absolute mess of a spell that split him originally. That magician could have at least bothered to take the time to write up some coherent spell.
The revving of engines caused the monster’s head to pop back up, finishing off his train of thought.
“Sure,” he answered, giving no further explanation. He made the decision having no conference with his other half. Sonny would just have to go with it. “Just give me a minute to saddle up.” Turning quickly on his heels, the spirit strode over to his mount, and set to work coaxing it out of the monolith/fountain thing so he could prepare for the ride.

Quote:"Would you two like to join me on my search for an island similar to my home on Arcadia. You don't have to stick around after we find it, just can you please at least accompany me there?"The man put forth his question, and Somerled paused for a moment. A quick glance cast around the endless white surrounding them only made the offer more tempting. At the moment, he had no other leads to go on. Which meant his only option would be to wander off towards one of the things in the distance and hoped everything worked out. In this place he was unfamiliar with, it would be much smarter to travel with company, especially since Connor was at least somewhat familiar with this world.
