All the weapons are fine. The super defence is fine.
Energy Shielding seems like a free buff right now. You need to give some explanation of how it works — for example that it drains him to use (somehow) and/or that it's very weak. I would suggest needing to stand still and activate it, thus giving it some actual downside and therefore eligible to be anything more than fodder. Otherwise you could just have it as being fodder for his DEF stat.
