Jade scrambled to her feet, some ingrained instinct setting her blood to pumping and unease curdling in her gut. Stinging rust-red and minuscule shards of torn metal had scraped the skin of her knees and elbows raw, and small beads of blood peppered her skin. Pain needled at her, but it had yet to swallow her up and make moving a completely cruddy idea. The young Witch sniffled indignantly.
‘Eyes up, my dear girl!’ her grandfather would say. ‘There’s no time to lose!’
Except Jade apparently had all the time to lose, and the towering mechanical fellow was glaring at her as if he was trying to perform laser surgery with his eyes.
Everyone else seemed prepared to kick some serious caboose, and then there was Jade left floundering about, both outranked and severely outgunned. It was pretty rude, if you had asked her, and the firearm pressing firmly into the small of her back swung heavily from its strap as she took a halting step backwards to better assess the situation.
A tremor quavered through her hands, stemming from the whirring locomotive and the quaking earth itself, and Jade fumbled behind her back for her gun. With twitchy fingers and an existentially harassed look on her face, she yanked her trusty cobalt-blue blaster gun out of its sling and levered it uncertainly at the mechanical soldier’s knees. The breeze whipped around them as if they were all trapped in a cylindrical, spiraling wind tunnel, and for an aqueous and drifting instant, everything stood still.
With a lurch, the spacio-temporal balance crashed back into its right dimensions, and Jade staggered as a sheet of rain poured down from the sky with all the subtlety of a barrage of lightning-quick bullets, stormy grey leeching color out of the horizon and rolling hills around them. Her shoes slid across the slick metal covering of the train, the edge of her slippers catching on the bridge of a slightly upturned ridge, and as everything swung back into motion she steered the nozzle of her gun to fire towards the ground.
Shlink! A single snowball round burst in a puff of frost and glittering blue crystals. The black-haired blade wielder and the illusory thief altered their tactics to accommodate the frozen patch of uneven ground now placed smack-dab in the middle of the rail-car. Jade quickly ducked around them, whiplash winds having made it nigh impossible for her to have heard the program speak, and skidded to an abrupt stop.
“Can’t we just talk this out?” she begged the opposing combatants, mashing one heel down hard on the tinny covering with a huff. Drizzly lightning branched across the sky with an electrical crackle, cutting everything into stark white for a split moment. “I’m sure there’s an easy solution if we sit down and talk about this like civilized people!”
While the frozen ground effectively bisected the car into two sections, making a truce entirely imaginable, it was possible for the mechanized humanoid to skirt around it with relative ease. Still, one heavy boot crunched down onto an icy mound and threw him just slightly off balance, one of his feet grating against the skittering fragments of metal that he had created in tearing an enormous hole through the rail-car’s roof. Just enough to give the swordswoman an easy opening, which she readily accepted with a swift slash of her blade.
In retaliation, the incredibly strong warrior merely shifted his stance, the assembled metal of his armor glinting in bright sunlight as the jarring volley of rain droplets receded with the hurtling wind. When he turned with not a dent or a scuff visible on the surface, Jade noted the span of erratic seconds it took him to do so.
She was faster than him, but only by a slim margin— if they were to come into close quarters, she feared she would end up with her butt handed quite unceremoniously to her on a platter. The herculean strength with which he merely jammed the swordswoman aside with an elbow was terrifyingly efficient. Jade wavered uncertainly as he advanced heavily towards herself and the thief, her mind racing and green eyes glancing this way and that.
“Uhm,” Jade stammered, her palms upraised slightly, to do just what against the mechanical titan she did not know. Her snow-white ears laid back as she readied for any incoming blows. “Uhhhhh!”

Akame sliced at Colonel pretty ineffectively, and he shoved her out of the way in trying to get at Demetri, pretty much.
Jade panicked, teleported behind Colonel, and received an elbow to the gut.
