Suddenly Aadibah was right side up. Wait, no, it was the man... Why had she gotten up? It must have been instinctual. Typically when someone extends a hand, you grab it.
She could feel herself coming back to reality, starting to cope with the situation. Well, at least everything before what just happened. Her suit was working now though, so that's all she really cared about.
The mammal she had seen typically associated with Canada now stood in the pool she had previously been slouching against when her world had ended. The soldier opted to observe the exchange occurring in front of her, perhaps it would give her time to think everything through and settle her emotions.
