Minato Namikaze Wrote:Hamon - Okay, So you can use this to both debuff an enemy and Buff an Ally in some way (note: You cannot Buff yourself, that's what power ups and transformations are for). But how, exactly, will you be debuffing an enemy? I mean, you can't just reduce someone to a slag-like substance. That'd be way too overpowered. So what sort of de-buffing effect will it have?I suppose I should've gone into more detail about how it actually affects people (besides Joseph, who obviously isn't affected by his own Hamon). For the purposes of the RP, it just effectively increases/decreases defense. For flavor, a debuffed person would have armor or skin become slightly weaker and more easily breached, while a buffed person would experience the opposite and become slightly more durable.
Minato Namikaze Wrote:Next You're Gonna Say... - The move is fine, but Insight doesn't allow you to read someone's mind and determine what they are going to say next, you'll need Telepathy for that. It is also going to highly depend on your TEC stat compared to their's.I know Insight doesn't read minds. It's supposed to be a reference to how Joseph can read characters so well that he can pretty much predict exactly what they would say next - or can I not use Insight for that? I should probably mention that, of course, the move can fail if someone is wiser than Joseph and catches on to his ploy.
I edited my first post to elaborate on moves a bit, and removed the part about turning metal into slag- that shouldn't fit into Hamon's base abilities (it's actually a more specific ability that might appear later).
I hope I'm not stretching too many limits as Joseph, especially in just my joining form- if it looks like I am at any point, say something and I'll figure out how to tone it down, or just remove it outright.
