Have you ever seen a girl fly? No? Well, I did today... and said girl was Jade. One minute I had just finished responding to Yang's Dataverse thread, next thing I knew Jade was as high as a kite! She was literally flying! As she giggled on her way up, I followed her ecstasy with my own barrage of laughing and clapping as she drifted upwards. "Weiss, look!" I called to the ivory dragon-admirer. Ice blue eyes swept up to where my finger was pointing and her jaw dropped. It wasn't everyday you surprised Weiss... but I guess this was one of those days!

"Please tell me I'm seeing straight?" She asked, almost complaining. "She's flying." I replied innocently, and the Ice Queen turned to look at me. "That wasn't the question I asked, but I'll take it..." She snapped, supposedly too tired to go ahead and berate me for being a dunce. Ruby: One, Weiss: Zero!

Well... more like Weiss: Negative One. Soon enough, I heard a body slump to the ground beside me, and I turned with a lightning fast heart to Weiss, unconscious and on the ground. "Weiss!" I cried, skidding to my knees and scooping the swordswoman up. "Weiss?! Are you okay?" I called to her as she spasmed violently in my lap... she was experiencing something, a dream, maybe even a memory...

And then her eyes eased open. A tsunami of relief crashed over me and I clutched her tight. Thankfully, after complaining about no one telling her why everyone passes her ice-themed nicknames, she seemed to be pretty alright... but I didn't bother explaining the answer to her question.

The silence that followed was swiftly broken by Jade, who approached and explained that she should get going... and offered for us to come! "Oh, yes please!" I accepted the offer, but Jade had already begun walking away. "Ruby, can you not just stay in one place?" Weiss asked with a whimper. I looked down at her and gave her the puppy eyes again. "I am not going to put up with that again... fine, go ahead, but don't blame me if something wants to kill us." She argued, but I pretended to ignore her. In truth, I understood why Weiss was so worried about our safety; we had only just been reunited, and we were in a world that had many bad things that wanted to kill us... more so than the Grimm.

"Hey, Jade! Wait up!" I called after pondering, gently tugging Weiss along with me.
