Negative Energy
#2
Loneliness. Despair. Lack of Conviction.

These were the emotions Koal were feeling at this moment, as he trudged through the blank white landscape of the Nexus. Off in the distance he saw a beautiful fountain with sparkling water. The Fountain of Infinity. The beginning for his unending torture and pain in this world that he and so many others called home now. The place where all the people he used to hold dear was now a dark and painful place to dwell.
Dr. Richard Faust, Hitler's lead R&D scientist for the Netherworld Project. A man capable of so much good, yet filled with so much evil. He considered Koal to be his life's greatest achievement, the pinnacle of his life's work. Koal curled his fingers into tight fists just thinking about the man who caused all of this, made his life a living nightmare. His fingernails bit into the soft flesh of his hand, causing blood to drip onto the pristine white surface of the ground.

His mind stirred, a telltale sign of Seraph awakening within the confines of his mental barriers. This would usually trigger a minor migraine behind Koal's left eye, signaling that the seal was working. But this time, he felt a mental nudge from the demon, an attitude of concern drifting over from their link to one another. The half-demon let his mind relax as he allowed Seraph to guide his spirit to whatever it was that the demon wanted to show him.
Koal gasped as his left eye began to burn like fire, and he was sucked into a memory.

" But Madam Leah, if I'm an Arch-demon, why am I so weak?!" A younger, much different looking Seraph exclaimed, squeaking a little bit as he spoke. The taller lady. who Koal assumed to be Madam Leah, laughed gently and knelt down to the smaller demon's eye level. " I know that It's hard being small, but you haven't even scratched the surface or your potential, young one. Just remember that when you claim your birthright, everyone will bow at your feet in fear." Leah ruffled Seraph's hair and stood back up. " Now lets see about getting your wounds fixed up."

" So you see,Koal, everyone has it rough. I am no exception. Leah was my teacher and my friend back in our world. She taught me how to use my powers, and now she is going to teach you. The demon's harsh voice sounded in the swordsman's head. " How is she going to teach me if she isn't here?" Koal exclaimed. "Omnilium can summon objects, right? So I got to thinking, why couldn't it summon people? I don't want you walking around with all of my power and not be able to use it.

Koal considered the point and nodded his head affirmative. Settling down into a kneeling position, Koal closed his eyes and reached out for Seraph. 'I'll do the focusing, and you supply the details and Information I need. Okay?' Koal felt a sense of agreement float over their link and Koal began the process. He started with her overall body dimensions. About 5'5 with a slim but strong build. she had long waist-length black hair with a red rose tucked neatly above her right ear. She had pale skin and a regal face. High cheekbones with a few wrinkles around her eyes, as if she smiled a lot. She had small fangs, but the most defining feature about her was the large, black bat wings that came out of her shoulder blades.

The human side of the demon continued to focus on the task st hand when he felt a light tap on his shoulder. Koal's concentration broke as he almost jumped out of his skin, letting out a yelp as he whirled around to see who had rapped his shoulder. He came face to face with a set of golden eyes that stared at him with some degree of confusion. It was Leah. Koal took a quick step backwards and dropped to a knee, his left eye turning red as Seraph too, paid his respects to his former instructor.
