But as the pink enigma and the demon child traversed the fairgrounds with the namekian baby in hand, something troubling came across her mind’s eye. Soldiers, all donning strange oddly designed armor were closing in from all sides. They didn’t feel like Camelot soldiers, but there was no time to question it.
Guu stopped in her tracks and turned to warn Desco, but before she could, a voice chimed in over the crowds.
“Well, well, well. Isn’t it Princess Guu, in the flesh.”
Many people in the crowd immediately recognized the voice and parted a hole. Soon, the voice’s source became clear. Standing across from them was a tiny woman, standing not too much taller than
Guu. She had curled shoulder-length jet black hair adorned with a tiara. Her simple teal dress made her look absolutely common, but her perfect posture and her fanciful gait just screamed a noble upbringing. Her emerald green eyes had a surface appearance of innocence, but just from a glance the pink one could see true malice in her gaze.
“Princess Bonbon Sunshine I presume.” Said Guu in the most mocking tone she could muster.
“Ah, so you’ve heard of me.” She replied, looking impressed.
“It’s kind of hard not to. I mean, you troll my twitter account on a regular basis.”
“Ha! Silly, things on the dataverse don’t carry any real weight in the real life.”
“I’d beg to differ…” Guu said with just a twinge of nostalgia.
“Come on, Guu!” Suddenly jumped in Desco, her voice practically booming with excitement at the prospect of violence. “Desco wants to beat her up!”
However, the pink one was not as eager to go into battle. She could feel the soldiers closing in, no doubt part of Sunshine’s army. While the two of them could probably take them, she didn’t want to chance it with the baby at risk. The crowd watched intently, curious on how all this will play out. Bonbon turned her attention towards the demon child.
“The infamous Desco. Dante’s Abyss, this dreadful competition; you’ve gained quite a reputation yourself.”
“Desco’s not afraid of you! Desco is tough!”
“The third person thing doesn’t say much about your intelligence.” Muttered Bonbon under her breath. She continued. “And you have an orc baby on you.”
“Namekian, actually.” Chimed in Guu, correcting her.
“Oh yeah? Like that Retain guy?”
“Retane.”
“I swear, you evil freaks all have such colorful names.”
Suddenly, the soldiers finally part through the crowds, surrounding the trio from all sides. Their armor came in a multitude of varying colors, something the pink enigma had no doubt was by Bonbon’s design.
“As you could probably tell, I have you completely surrounded now. I suggest you heed my demands. Either leave Camelot, or come with us as our prisoner.”
“Come on Guu!” Cheered on Desco. “We could take them!”
Ignoring her, the pink enigma studied her enemy. She had some sort of suppression effect in place, so very little of her psychic senses could pierce it’s way in. She couldn’t even dig that deep with her telepathy. She could tell that her opponent was formidable, or at least seemed highly intelligent. However, her expression had finally broken through the innocent facade now showed her full complete rage for all the world to see.
“Well, Princess Guu, what is your choice?” She said, her scowl intensifying.
“Hold it! Hold it!” A loud booming voice reigned in from the crowds. A man in full plate armor rode in on a horse, an arm outstretched. Bonbon quietly rolled her eyes. “Princess Bonbon, what do you think you’re doing?”
“I’m just conversing with these three individuals. Nothing more.” She responded, her expression back to the fake innocence of before.
“Don’t lie to me! I know you have bad blood with the Princess of Ambrosia and I can’t allow you to do anything to her on my watch!”
“Pfft, I wasn’t going to do anything to her. I was just sending her a message.”
“Even so, I request that you leave her alone this instant!”
“Fine.” She said huffily, rolling her eyes at the knight. She turned to the Pink Enigma one last time. “You’re lucky my hands are tied. We’ll finish this another date.”
And with that, Princess Bonbon turned away and marched off, her soldiers following suit. Eventually, the crowd filled in the gap again and Bonbon was gone from sight. Guu gestured to Desco.
“Come on, lets leave. I’m not sure if this place is safe for Naturae.”
The pink one summoned another abomination of a steed and the trio rode off towards the Nexus gate.
“Why didn’t you fight her, Guu?” Puzzled the demon child.
“Sometimes, it’s best not to feed the trolls.”
Guu stopped in her tracks and turned to warn Desco, but before she could, a voice chimed in over the crowds.
